Past SWSC projects: The Fright Gallery haunted house attractions

In 2002, SWSC and The Fright Gallery created HAZELWOOD MANOR, a live musical stage show for Halloween 2002. The show story: a greedy real estate agent attempts to sell a dilapidated haunted house to a young couple, despite the manor’s reputation as an uninhabitable ruin thanks to the terrifying spirits still roaming its grounds. The two-story manor facade below opened on cue like a giant doll’s house to reveal the cobwebbed interior rooms of Hazelwood where the stage show continued uninterrupted. A crowd favorite among Fright Gallery fans and audiences, this off-off-off-Broadway show wowed Southern California as a hilarious, haunting event of the Halloween 2002 season.
